Geschäftsführer InnoLinTec GmbH

Even during my studies, I was fascinated by semiconductors, embedded systems and the possibilities they offer through the efficient combination of hardware and software. Semiconductors have been a constant feature of my work at every company, whether dealing with microcontrollers, microprocessors, ASICs, FPGAs, sensors or actuators. Harmonising chip design, the underlying technologies and software design has always been, and remains, my lifeblood. I have pursued this in many industries, and am currently aligning it with the vision of sustainability and knowledge transfer – and the goal of enabling efficient systems through optimally coordinated hardware and software – by combining it with open-source (spanning all areas from software to IPs, cores, tooling and hardware).

Areas of interest

Open-source software, embedded systems and hardware; semiconductor development including technologies, packaging and qualification; uC, uP, SoC, FPGA, ASIC, sensor technology, actuators/motor control; sustainability and efficiency in manufacturing and development as well as in applications

What will define good chip design in 2030?

>>    It is essential to return to a globally oriented yet locally focused CD. This will enable Europe to protect its own intellectual property and focus on cutting-edge technologies and applications to showcase Europe’s footprint. With sustainability and knowledge sharing as a foundation, it will be possible to lead the way into the future at the forefront through development, expertise and pioneering work.   <<
